When it rains, it pours

That's looking out my front door yesterday during the morning thunderstorm. Out here they say that we get 18 inches of rain a year and you should be here on the day we get it. Well yesterday was definitely a "when it rains, it pours" day.

When it rains it pours, seems a little like a metaphor for my life right now. In a good way mind you.... Downtown Art Market Saturday, Wine and Clay Festival all weekend, Studio Tour application due, trip north to visit family on Monday.... Kiln is firing for the second time this week. Ahhhh, it's been a busy few days.

I bet the rain cooled things down a bit! Do you guys get the sauna effect after a big rainshower? We certainly do...

Sounds like you've certainly kept busy...I hope your trip to see family is nice and relaxing!

We haven't had rain like that LeAnn, but every day it seems to rain a little.
Sounds like a great sequence of events for you...I know you like the community of the Art Market....wishing you well there! The clay festival sounds yummy, and time with family is always a treasure!

We have had so much rain the past 2 months it's not even enjoyable anymore ;(
But our lawn looks like a park and the veggies and flowers are stretching, so I shouldn't complain too much. Enjoy your weekend!

Our weather is a little cool and some rain and some storms, just a little bit everyday. Maybe when you head north the weather will get better.Debbie

Will you be away long?? I will miss you! Glad to hear you have had a busy (positive) week. And looking forward to seeing more beautiful work...

We don't often get that much rain, but when we do I love it. Thunderstorms are a favorite of mine. It sounds like you have been having a busy week. Me too. I am getting my submissions ready for the December Bead Trends, I hope I get something into this one too, and I had a bunch of special orders to make. My friends from church have been very generous in ordering this week, since we were a little short to pay our property taxes for the year. I hope they become addicted to my jewelry, lol.
Can't wai to seewhat you are going to send me :)
