More spirals

Tiny little break here. I've been getting a kiln ready and fired today and making and carding things for the art market on Saturday. Things are not really spinning out of control but spiraling seems to be my current obssesion. I made these four pendants with porcelain beads from my seemingly never ending stash of beads that I make but forget. These came about because I was looking at the spiral connectors that were abandoned in the bracelet making. You know, it helps to have a chaotic workspace once in a while. These beads were lying there and so were the connectors, the light went on and voila, pendant hangers for a group of unrelated beads. Serendipity. I love serendipity. And I think I love spirals even more.
Ok, then, work never ends during a market week. So I am off to put more things together. This month I will be completely organized......dreams, we all need to have dreams and aspiration.

these are wonderful! um... chaotic workspace once in a while? that would be my dream...how about all of time and often with a cat lying on top? i never can understand how they find it to be comfortable! in your chaos and seeming disorganization, new things came into being... love that!

Love the pendants and your spirals :o) I always dream of a non-chaotic space...But then I sit down and mess happens all over again...I think it's all part of the process of putting things together and taking them apart until they look "right"...

But, VERY pretty pendants!! Love them!

These are just sooooo wonderful, the patina of the metal with the glazes of the stones are just a fabulous pretty/rustic combo!! Are you selling them....ohhh I love them, or are you selling those little beads, they are magnificent!

MJ, Katie, the truth is my workspace is chaos most of the time. It's just an abyss right now. Every 6 months or so I tidy up.

Sharon, I'm not sure what I'm doing with the pendants. I'd like to do some in copper and silver as well. They are making a debut at the art market this weekend.

Thanks all! I really appreciate the encouragement as I often feel lke a fish out of water with this stuff.

These are adorable!! Nobody would ever guess you haven't been doing this all along! I think it was Nietsche that said: you need to have chaos in yourself to give birth to a shining star. So, I guess chaos is just part of the process. It definitely is for me...
