That’s the full moon, blue moon, seen from my house on New Years Eve. As I look at that photo I realize how familiar seeing the moon through the branches of the old pecan tree has become. Just a few years here in our home, that I’ve considered our new home. How comfortable and familiar it has become. All of that has happened with scarcely a passing thought from me.
This time of year is a time of quiet reflection for me. But not a time of resolutions. I’m no good with those. Another year gone and the promise of the new year and all that it might hold. Full like the moon.
I’ve been so fortunate to have come to know so many of you over the past year. You’ve laughed with me, supported me, and sparked creative growth that I am so grateful for. It’s been a good year. Many thanks!
I wish you all a year full of wonderful things.

You have done exactly the sam for me LeAnn, thank you...and have a blessed, healthy, and happy new year! I look forward to our adventures together!
you are right about resolutions... it is more about just doing your best... seeing the potential in each day... it rained for us on new year's eve - so didn't get to see that moon... but i knew it was there, hiding behind the clouds... i have just hit a point in my life where there is a shift... and wanting to carry certain things though and explore others is something i am reaffirming for myself... best always, leann ... and thanks for all you have shared and supported!
earlier today, I was just thinking to myself how long it's been since we've all heard from you (not that I've been any better myself). I have really enjoyed getting to know you over the past year and wish you the best 2010 possible! I, too, am horrible about resolutions and try to avoid them....especially because I am always trying to live and learn and grow as life goes on...
Happy 2010 to you!
Happy New Year, LeAnn! Can't wait to see what you're working on next!
I am not one to make resolutions either but I look to the new year as you do full of hope and promise.
Wishing you the best of all things LeAnn, Happy New Year!
Wishing you a blessed New Year! I look forward to sharing more with you this year!
Happy New Year LeAnn. I agree that it a more of a reflective time than a time for resolutions that we might not keep. Thank you for your supporting comments on my blog - it really means a lot to me, and I have enjoyed beginning to participate in this beady community of very lovely people.
The happiest of times ahead for you, LeAnn. What a gorgeous old moon she is, eh? Say, thanks for your visit and your friendship as well. It means a lot for me and I know so many others.
I'll be back more often and look forward to your Art Shenanigans.
Take care!
Candace
Happy New Year to you LeAnn! I'm also not much of a resolution maker, I prefer to set goals throughout the year. It's been lovely getting to know you a bit this past year!
