Sweet Little Birds

I've been making teeny, tiny little birds for earings and to put inside etched and domed pendants. These little guys are only about half an inch wide. They are headed off to the Downtown Art Market tomorrow. I've been a busy little bee here. I've made a million pairs of earings. No kidding, a million. OK, maybe it just feels like a million. I've etched a bazillion pendants and little earing pieces. I've wire wrapped a katrillion beads. I've got all sorts of new things for tomorrow. So if you are in Lubbock, you should come see us. Even if you are not in Lubbock, you should come see us. Even if that means getting in your own personal jet, you should come see us. It will be fun!

Now for your viewing pleasure I present you with a rare glimpse into my studio. Unfortunately, the unsightly mess you see on my work table is not rare. This photo was taken at 1pm today. It is much worse now.

Have a great weekend!

for whatever it's worth..
that could be my work table right now..
no matter how many times i straighten up things seem to gravitate into a pile around me while i am working..

Have fun tomorrow! I bet all the earrings will fly off the table (pun intended!)... I adore that "busy wiring messy table top" and want an area for jewelry making... Come fall I think I will have time & energy enough to get my studio into work flow mode (big intentions & plans in the works).
Thanks fir sharing the state of your studio with us!

Oh, you are so tempting, if I think about it long enough I can rationalize coming!! Can I borrow your jet?!!
Those tiny cuties won't last long, they are adorable!
And, if I showed you my table you would wonder how I made anything! Great minds are alike...right?!! Best of luck at the show!

Love the birds - good luck at the show! Oh, and my workspace? Not only smaller, but more cluttered!

Good luck at your show! It's a wonder we can do anything with such a mess but my workspace is easily as "busy" as yours!

While you may see a mess at that workbench, I clearly see desk top/workspace...which is more than can be seen on mine.

LOVE those sweet little birds!

Love what you're up to! Sadly, my worktable is still completely blank! The boxes haven't been unpacked yet. I think an empty worktable is much sadder than a busy looking one like yours is, don't you agree?

My personal jet is circling Lubbock, where do I land, LOL?
