Focus on Life - Week 10: All Wrapped Up

The sound of the ocean, the smell of the sea,
hands warming on the first cup of coffee on a cold morning
....all wrapped up in one perfect moment.

“To live in the present moment is a miracle. The miracle is not to walk on water. The miracle is to walk on the green Earth in the present moment, to appreciate the peace and beauty that are available now.”

Love your post LeAnn and the gentle reminder that our present is the best if we only take the time to be in it.

Oh, that is a perfect moment--hands wrapped around the first cup of coffee. And that quote is something I need to remind myself of frequently.

That looks like my hands most mornings! Not sure if I'm warming my hands or pretinding to keep my coffe warm! Lovely imagery for all wrapped up!

Beautiful! So short and sweet. Makes me think, why didn't I think of that? ;-)

Wonderful post LeAnn. Are you camping here? Coffee is the BEST when you are chilly and even better when it is because you are outside with nature all around:)

To walk on this green earth is a much of a miracle, getting to see all the beautiful things around us! Your gesture of your macro holding the coffee cup is lovely:)

Nothing like a cup of coffee to start out the day. The sound of the ocean isn't a bad way to start a day either! ;)

I love your posts LeAnn! As a result of reading your quotes, I recently purchased Peace in every Step by Thich Nhat Hanh and Buddha's Little Instruction book, so thank you for sharing them! Sounds like you are having a nice seaside getaway!

Love this series of photos; I did think of you while staying in the moment in the sun in Palm Springs; life is now; our need to go forward or list backward takes much of the joy from us. Now and a cup of coffee, the sounds and smells of life, that can be it.

The bluest sky in Palm Springs and a crescent moon, and a pair of doves that kept cooing and cooing. Hugs, Joan T
