BTW

The last time I posted a Bead Table Wednesday, oh so long ago, I showed you that bronze bead in the center of this bangle. Maybe it wasn't a BTW but it may well have been the last time you saw anything from my studio.  In fact today was the first time I've actually seen my studio in weeks. Each day this week I've gotten up full of energy to get in there and do something. Each day another more immediate need related to the whole moving, renting the house, other stuff has pushed me off course.  So that bangle up there is still waiting for me to finish the patina on the wire. Tomorrow, maybe tomorrow.

Sadly, this is the actual state of my bead table. It's a tiny portion of it. The rest is worse. The bangle is sitting there in a little tray of to do later things. Tomorrow. Absolutely nothing can interfere tomorrow. Right?

Thanks so much for all of your well wishes about the upcoming move. And especially, a big thanks about the old Bob dog. Yesterday, he actually hopped into the car in a very spritely way so that he could go visit his good friend Dianne at the vet's office. He loves the vet and all of those many new meds he's on seem to be making a difference.

life can do that... your friends wait, and even that lovely bangle will wait! i do hope you get to work on it tomorrow though, i know how it feels to just want to make something you want to make - or feel called to make... i have about 6" square of space to work on as well... i often end up on the floor - very bad! :0)

Nothing aggravates me more than not being able to get to what I want to, but age has mellowed me a bit in that respect, and it will happen when it happens! Glad to hear Bob is feeling a bit better. Hope you ghet some time to create!

Deep Breaths Lit'l Sis,

You will get to your studio, it will be when it is. Be patient with yourself, your heart, head&body are all in over drive with all your life changes. Be patient the time will come when it's right. But heck I know your feelings well!!! It's more then hard to not feel the pull of our creative juices. Oye and then not be able to satisfy them!!

Glad to hear Bob is feeling better! It is so frustrating to be wanting to create something and just not have the time...
Any news on the house offer yet?

Love the bronze bead and at least you are showing something almost done, I haven't shown anything but supplies to work with! I have been pulled off on tangents myself for a long time now and feel that strong pull to make something, anything! Glad Bob is doing better.

I absolutely LOVE that bracelet.

And I understand about moving. I've done a lot, but in the same state, over several states, and international, and all but one were move-it-myself. So I know what you're going through!

Your new bracelet is sure gorgeous! The colors are some of my all-time favorite.
I feel for you and your beloved Bob. My Hodgie is 15 years old and has such bad arthritis as well, it's difficult to watch him walk, the poor thing just stumbles everywhere now.
I'm wishing you the bet as you get ready for your move. Going to NC....you'll be even closer to me now in VA!

Wow, you HAVE been busy with lots of other stuff. Moving. Yikes! Don't beat yourself up for not having much time to work in the studio. You'll get back in there at some point.
But, I know what you mean. I feel cranky after 3 or 4 days away from my studio. Good luck with all that you are juggling right now.
